Long neglected, this once fine Victorian home with former Dairy at the rear has been restored and transformed into a family home with unique needs.

The family with three growing children required semi – independent accommodation for carers of children with special needs and for increased informal, living, playing and entertaining spaces. The Architects recognised that safety was paramount in the design of this home.

Designed on a fundamental basis of effective construction cost, energy efficiency and environmental awareness, the home reflects both lifestyle and design imperatives. Double glazed windows, hydronic heating, high levels of insulation, solar power and LED lighting help to ensure running costs are kept to a minimum.
