The 1930s home passed down generations led the granddaughter of the original builder to approach selectNOWarchitecture to help bring light, ventilation and a 21st century lifestyle to the home whilst retaining its character.

Architects reused the original windows, reflecting the Edwardian home character internally. The dining area is now the central meeting point of the residence, defining a partnership between old and new.

The slope of the site was utilised to provide an efficient second story and roof deck of the home, emerging city views for the first time.
